I am trying to make my first computer and I've got the PSU plugged into the MOBO with the CPU and RAM installed. I also have my cases power button as well as its lights and reset button plugged in. I press the power button the CPU's fan spins briefly and the cases lights come on, then nothing. I have a speaker and a monitor plugged in and niether of them show any response. Then the CPU's fan shuts down.

So far I've tried only having one of my RAMs plugged in, in each of the slots. I've also taken the CPU back out and inspected it. Everything looks the same as it did when I opened it as does the space for it in the MOBO. I've also tryied to boot it with no RAM.
The build is as follows.
AsRock B75M DGS
Corsiar Vengance 1600 RAM
i5 3470 CPU
Corsair Builder series PSU

I don't know what the problem is and I don't really know what else I can do. Does anyone have any info that could help me figure out whats wrong. Or were to start to even try to figure it out.
