No input signal

Hi

The other day I got the computer parts I ordered from PC case gear I put it all together in the right places. But when I turn the power on it said no input signal. So I asked someone I know who's an IT guy he gave me suggestions but none of them work so thinking it was a loss cable I took it apart and built it again but still it said no in put signal. Please help
