hi, just wondering about programs or software i may want to get when i building a pc. i am almost done with picking parts, and im about to put it all together. This is my first time building a computer and want things to go well. Thanks for any input or thoughts appreciate it.

Why the Western Digital Scorpio Black 160GB in a desktop?
The capacity is tiny and it would make more sense to get a 1TB or 2TB drive to complement your SSD.

The Celeron G540's 3D performance on the integrated video card will be pretty poor. I assume you won't be using this for gaming.

i forgot to add that the g540 is just temporary. Ill be upgrading to i5-3570k in a few months, this is pretty much just a start ill upgrade my few weak parts as i can afford to. thanks
