So I am upgrading my PC and I want it to be future proof. Ill be upgrading in the first or second week of February. My busget will be max 500 Euros EXCLUDING GRAPHICS. Already have a GTX660!

The things I need: PSU,CPU,MOBO,HDD500-1000GB,RAM8-16GB

My case is a Corsair Carbide 300R.
Ill be getting an aftermarket cooler later with thermal paste so suggestions for that are welcome but dont include them in your calculations :p

Prefer unlockes CPU as I want to overclock when needed..

My thoughts were:

Corsair TX650
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3
Intel i5 3570k/i7 3770(k)
Corsair Valueselect 8GB 1333mhz
Seagate 1TB or 500 Gb

Thanks in advance guys, really appreciate it.

Get better RAM - Crucial Ballistix 8GB 1600MHz is about 45$ on Newegg, and I say go Core i5, use the extra 100$ to buy an SSD & pair it with a 1TB Barracuda
