I installed a graphics card, but neither the new or the old card work

I tried to install a new graphics card, but upon turning on my computer, the display would not come out of sleep mode (pretty much no signal). After reinstalling the old card, I turned on my computer to find it did the same thing. The computer comes on fine, with no beeps, but there is no display. What can I do?

Is there any way to tell if it is posting? Maybe a debug readout on your motherboard? Hopefully its as simple as you havent plugged your keyboard in which most pcs wont post without. Or it could be that PCI slot got damaged. Maybe try another one.
