[Monitor] Need a new PC Screen

Hey all

First off, I hope this is the correct category and sub-category to post this is. Didn't see anyplace else that looked more fitting. Couldn't find anything that said "Monitors" or such. If there is one and I missed it, please move it there.

So, on to business.

I'm looking to get a new monitor, but I don't know if I should stick with trusted LED or try out some IPS goodness. Mind you the IPS will have to come from the lower down price bracket as I am on a budget here.

Two monitors that caught my eye were the following, they are both IPS monitors. Please note this will be in my local currency. For American Dollars divide by 8.8, for Euros by 11.5 and for Pounds by 14.2 (give or take, obviously there will some import tax involved, etc).

So lets say my budget is around $200 - $230.

If you guys can suggest other monitors, or can tell me if I should even go IPS if I'm going to spend such a low amount, that would be great. I know lower down IPS monitors can suffer from backlight bleeding and over contrasting blacks (making it look purple-ish).

So if you maybe have experience with a cheaper IPS screen that works great, looks great, and so on, please give a link so that I can check it out.
