This is the computer I've come up with, but I would like to cut it down to under 1000. I live in Australia, so I'm buying from pccasegear.com. Thanks.

CPU- intel core i5 3570k= $229
Mobo- asrock extreme 4= $139
Graphics card- Asus Radeon hd7850= $235
Ram- Corsair CMX8GX3M2B1600C9 DDR3= $49
HDD- seagate barracuda 2tb= $99
SSD- sandisk extreme 120gb= $109
PSU- corsair cx-750 modular= $115
Case- Corsair Carbide 500R (white)= $145
OS- windows 7- $95
Optical drive- samsung SATA DVDRW= $19

total- $1234

You're getting ripped off on the GPU. buy a 7870 for the same price. also you're spending too much on the case, check out some options from nzxt like the lexa s or the tempest 410 elite. You might be able to NOT pirate windows seven and MAYBE put that money towards a gpu or something. also a CX600 is like 60$ cheaper and will be fine for you. other than that looks nice

^ listen to him 7850 is usually lower than 235 aud
and case is too pricey, get 300r or anything cheaper as it adds nothing to performance

----
PSU- corsair cx-750 modular= $115

i hate to say this because i am a fanboy of corsair LOL

cx series is okay but less quality, get at least TX/HX series

or switch to XFX 650/750 instead

read this to make sure who manufactures the PSU

The cx600 is only 20 dollars cheaper in Australia. And I can get the a sapphire Radeon hd hd7870 for 30 dollars extra.

Some brands for psu's you'd be happy with (also anything over 400w is fine for you): Corsair, XFX, Cooler Master, NZXT, Rosewill (only the good rosewills [the expensive ones, lol]), seasonic, and some antecs.

What do you think the the Coolermaster storm enforcer or the Coolermaster HAF 912 combat, both around $80. Or a different case.
