Hey, I need to know which of these is better. FX 8350 vs i5 3570k

I want it for : Gaming, Adobe Softwares, Many other Multitasking. Gaming is more important though. :D
I will surely buy a aftermarket CPU Fan and Overclock both CPU. I'll not buy and very costly one, just that which is better than the stock cooler.

Please, I know many of you guys are against FX series but give me a wise answer.

Which would be better after OCing to around 4.5 or 5Ghz ?

Which will be better for Applications? Maybe FX 8350 because of 8 cores and more Threads. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've heard FX series OC very nicely but i5 is better for gaming.
I've also heard that you can't enable all 8 cores. Is it true?

both are around the same price,
i know u think that fx is not that bad, and it's true its not that bad.
but i5 3570 is just....... better
since u said gaming is most imp. i will tell u according to that,
most games today use only 2 core, few use 4 cores so 8 cores for gaming is not helpful at all!
and why overclock, go through all that hassle so that it can just compete with 3570
i say just get a regular 3570 and u will have the best pc

for gaming 3570k for adobe 8350

Lol, the FX-8350 BSODs at STOCK speeds WITH A LIQUID COOLER, look around, newegg reviews, etc...

The i5 is way better, better stock speeds, 4 cores and not 4 BS modules make for a cooler experience, and the LGA1155 motherboards are just in general better than 990FX ones, also, if you go with AM3+ you will need to upgrade to Intel in the future anyways, since AMD never really made gaming CPUs.

Ok then.
Well now tell me a best mobo for this.

It should have space for this : G.skill 8 GB 1600Mhz (2x4GB)
A Pcie 3x16 slot and other necessary features. Mainly for GTX 660

I prefer this site : www.flipkart.com

Search for the Best Motherboard Under Rupees 6000. The more cheap, the better!
I know a very little about Mobos. So help please.

And also suggest me a CPU fan which will run the CPU cooler than the stock one. Under Rupees 650.

wow!!!!!!
well i guess u CAN oc.
but z77 is preferred for OC i guess and just..... safer.
but if u know wat u r doing then, well...

and the mobo u picked, is micro ATX so it's a little small, u will have to really think about the airflow in your case if u want to overclock cuz people say its kindia cramped, air flow is imprtant in OC or u can just use liquid cooling

the one above me says a z77 mobo, too most people WILL suggest z77 bcoz...
well that one is really good to OC
i found the cheapest one

a little over your budget, but after this u can overclock the best.
and for cooler
http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-hyper-tx3-evo/p/itmd5xzprhxvefrj?pid=COLD5XZPV75JZAEZ&ref=2d54ceaa-1eec-44b6-9988-a28f99386586&srno=t_7&otracker=from-search&query=cooler
this has the best price/performance ratio.
but if u want to step up to an ATX from micro ATX
http://www.flipkart.com/asrock-z77-pro4-motherboard/p/itmd9urzecm64tsg?pid=MBDD9UR4VHWGAQP8&ref=9b696bb4-4c9b-4a62-8292-5bf973bcbd84&srno=t_2&otracker=from-search&query=z77

or maybe u can save all this money on expensive mobo aftermarket cooler and a k-CPU
and just get a non k processor, it's not that bad.

Some motherboards support overclocking non K cpu's but the most you can overclock is an extra 400mhz or .4 ghz.

So since the i5 3570 has a base clock of 3.4 ghz and boosts to 3.8 ghz you can achieve a maximum of 4.2 ghz.

If I were you I would pay the extra $15 so if needed you could add another 300mhz+ to the OC

well u can overclock almost anything,
but not all CPU's and mobo's are meant for that.
bcoz of overheating and maybe overvoltage,
before intel didn't want people to OC and if u did, u would void your warranty at that time!!
they wanted this to STOP!

but times hav changed
now intel seperates some CPU's that are meant for OC and names them in a different way,
they add a k at the end of it, so u know u this one is MEANT to OC. that's wat the k stands for.....

So i5 3570k is better for OC and gaming. Right?
But the problem is a Mobo that could handle it nicely.
So search me a good mobo. That can handle a maximum of 400 Mhz OC. (Not more than this is necessary)

It should have space for this : G.skill 8 GB 1600Mhz (2x4GB)
It shouldn't have crossfire or SLI support, no problem if there will be.
A Pcie 3x16 slot and other necessary features. Mainly for GTX 660
