Hi, this is my first ever PC build so i'm a bit of a newbie :( I've done some research and I was wondering if this list of parts would work well together as a PC that I could use for gaming, editing, uni work etc. Is there any thing I don't need or should change? And could you recommend a PSU as I'm unsure on this part of the build. Thanks in advance :)

Are you sure you want to attempt your first ever build with a mini PC? You are in for lots o' headaches. I would definitely avoid the large cooler, for one thing. The Hyper 212 EVO is a huge cooler. (Although, you will need good cooling in that tiny case with a full sized card). If you're not going to O/C there's no need for the cooler; the stock cooler will be fine. If you can get enough air flow thru the case. The items you selected will all work fine together, but you will be wishing you had a bigger case...

What did you have in mind for a PSU? Better go for a modular design to eliminate as many cables as possible.
