i am on a very tight budget so i am already going a bit over the price to get a dvd writer and a 120gb HDD will this rig be alright'ish ? for games ?

South africa the budget is R4000 wich is roughly $450

I would try to go for an hd 7770. The 7750 will only get you low/med settings in modern games. Also, get 2x2gb RAM not 1x4gb. Dual channel is always better.

I would recommend a CX430, it's about $20 on Newegg right now, and you should with a 7770 like other poster said. I would look for sales and be patient you will find some good prices.
