Custom Vs Intel NUC

Hello community, i'm going to be building a very compact server [sub 400] to sit on top of my Ethernet switch in my room to run a teamspeak server [Max 32 connections] and a small personal website. I was looking at the Intel NUC and it has a very good core i3 cpu and lots of ram capacity. However the price is quite steep. There also is limited I/O and hdd space. I liked the form factor not the price, so i made a list of parts similar to the NUC but the cpu performance is about half as fast.

If I purchased the NUC I would get the same ram and ssd. So it would be 300 + 85$ This is 330$.

Performance wise, teamspeak never affects my cpu or even shows up on task manager. Either system is the form factor I need and want. Thanks for the help!

Edit: *My friend told me about Zotac Zbox's but he said they are hard to find.

the nuc might be a better choice given even a ultra low power i3 would smack a atom processor anyday
