Gaming PC with upgrade options

I am building my first PC i would like high settings gaming but also a bit of cad and hd video etc. but games need to work well. I am also hopeing that FSX will run well also.

I have tried to make it future proof by having upgrade options. I might crossfire, over clock, SSD etc.

I curently have three monitors!... but not for gaming :( ( £12 card with igpu) , I would like the option for multi tasking on three monitors still but i dont expect 3 monitor gaming until i cross fire ? maybe? Also i only have vga monitor at the moment so maybe not posable, O I might also use my 720p projector for gaming.

More about gaming upgrade options
  1. are you sure getting HD 7870 FleX GHZ Edition?
    regular 7870 with multiple output will be a great choice

    multitasking =/ eyefinity
    flex card support eyefinity which is gaming in 3 continuous monitor

    with regular card, you can game in one monitor, and keep multitasking in 3-4 monitor
  2. Honestly if you have 3 monitors and they are all VGA only it might be time to upgrade the monitor too.

    No i am not decided yet. Are you saying i can still multi task on a regular 7870 which would be cheaper? I dont think the flex was much more.

    Yea this system will deserve much more then the free low res monitors i have. buit i need a pc to run them first. I am going to try my projector (HDMI) so i think i will wait/save for new monitors.

  7. Thank you for your reply. However I realy need the hdd space, I have loads of films and fsx just rapes it. I am plannig to use my 720p projector to get me started. Three good monitor is going to cost more than I would save on the hdd wouldn't it .? I think that is some thing to save up for at a later date but correct me if I am wrong. Thanks again keep it coming, any thoughts on the graphics card?
  8. i thought you wanted to spend a lot more :) lol

    okay stick with single HDD
    128GB ssd for boot and 2TB hdd for storage is a killer combination

    I see yes that could have been misleading. My budget is realy £750 so I want a really good system but I do t want to skimp just to have three screens ( although my desk wont look as impressive as it does now, but it will actualy do the job.) Would your kila combo fit my budget ? Could you elaborate on the graphics card. Would I be better of with out fhe flex?
