direct input error

Hey everyone, I have a huge problem with my system,
everytime I install winxp dxdiag gives a error in direct
input, and i am not able to start the game controller
setup in winxp.
System: P4 3,2 GHz
Asus P4c800 delux
creative audigity 2zs platinum pro
sapphire R800 pro
latestest drivers and patches installed

Hi Juergen,

What input devices do you have installed on your system?
Please test with a minimum of devices if possible.
Please try other keyboard / mouse if available.
