I cant believe I am asking this but, I was originally going to get the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Quad Core 6000K, and of course leave it at 3.8, shouldnt get too hot. I was then looking at the the 2500 sandy bridge, http://processors.findthebest.com/compare/777-834/Intel-i5-2500-vs-Intel-i5-3570, technically speaking the 2500 is better, I know it cant use the DDR 3 1600 but that wouldnt make a huge difference. Not to mention if I over clock it, it doesnt get as hot. I lose .1 ghz but at the same time overclocking it would be better etc, correct?

if you are planning to overclock you should get a good cpu cooler..i prefer 212 hyper evo..2500k and 3570k speed difference is about 200 mhz..plus 3570k supports pci-e 3-0..its like not a bit difference like 5 % over 2500k using pci-e 2.0..with good coooler you can get 3570k @4.5 Ghz easy with temps on stress around 70 degrees so its like 2500k @4,7 Ghz...both cpus almost at the same price so i would get 3570k just for more features..
