New Gaming PC..NOOB help

Hi guys,

What do you think of these specs for a gaming PC....

Intel 3 Ivy Bridgei7-3770K Turbo (3.90GHz X 4)

Gigabyte / Asus (Z77)

2TB (2000GB) SATA3 6.0Gbps

120GB S.S.D Sata3 6.0Gbps

16GB DDR3-1600

12X BluRay rom

Ati Radeon HD7850 2GB DDR5

Xigmatek CAC-SXHH3-U08


650W 80 plus Power Supply

Realtek High Definition Audio 7.1

Get a i5 3570k and use the $100 saved towards a 7950.

Agreed with above but also:

1)Not sure if thats a soundcard or onboard from mobo but you don't really need a sound card unless your a massive audiophile
2)Make sure your PSU is from a reputable manufacturer, seasonic, xfx, pc power and cooling etc
3)8gb of ram is plenty for gaming. 1.5v and 1600mhz.

No problem, for gaming you will see little to no difference in an i5 and i7. Don't forget to consider the other points to.

I really want to run max settings with Bf3 and FSX flight sim....It should do the trick yeh?

i5 3570k is the gaming king. You should max those games out with a 7950 and i5 on one monitor.

Yeh great! I only want one monitor....Thats great to know...Will get a quote in the next few days and post up here for feedback....I'm living in Hong Kong at the moment..

Do you really need 2 TB worth of space?
