that message pops up in a black box every time i try to install Starcraft:
Broodwar. I have installed this programs 10x in the past why wont it work now
can anyone help?

Hi Builtcanadatuff,

That sux.........that's one of my favourite games.

The too big to fit in memory error is oftentimes indicative of a corrupt
file and not that the file is actually too big to fit in memory. If the CD
is scratched and/or smudged, try cleaning it and then try running the
install again. You might also want to ensure that the Temp folder is cleaned
out, and that you don't have your antivirus running during installation.

You might also want to try running the alternate BroodWar installer,
available for d/load from here:
http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/starcraft/patches/PC/
The file name is BwIFix.exe
Once d/loaded, run BwIFix.exe with the StarCraft Brood War CD in the drive.
