Hi!

I pretty much new here and too hardcore with computers but,
like the title says, is it even possible to Crossfire the HD6950 with HD7950? I'm planning to buy it but I must know...

Will it work?
Will there be a bug?
Will it run?
Will it effect the performance?
Will it increase the performance?
Will a 750W it be enough?

Here's my spec just in case,

AMD FX Bulldozer 4100 3.6Ghz
8GB Kingston HyperX (2x4GB)
WD Blue 1.0TB and 500GB HDD
40GB SSD Intel X25-V
Cooler Master GX 750W PSU
and Sapphire HD6950 with 2GB GDDR5 (Current)

NOPE! Can't do it because they are dfferent generations of GPU which use different internal Architectures. Crossfire only works between two similar GPU's. See this chart which shows compatibility info. for AMD's cards. http://sites.amd.com/PublishingImages/Public/Graphic_Il...
