Late last night in an attempt to begin a movie marathon, I plugged my computer into a friends hi-fi system via a HDMI cable.
However, when my computer flashed a couple of times, I figured something was up, and sure enough I had plugged it into the output rather than the input. Rookie Mistake.
I'm figuring I now have a blown graphics card in my laptop (ASUS A55D) but not sure if that's the extent of the damage.
Are there any tests to figure out the exact problem before taking it apart and fitting a new Graphics Card?
