Hi all,
So about a week ago my gpu fan died (a GEforce gt430) and figured now is a good time to upgrade but I have a couple of concerns the biggest being if my psu can handle a new or upgraded card (not 100% sure how it works). These are my specs
PSU: ISO 480pp 420w max, single 12v rail at 18a (fairly sure)
Motherboard: Foxconn H67Mv
Ram: 8 gigs
CPU: Intel i5-2400
OS: Win-7 64bit
So far i've considered the GTX 550 ti as well as the ATI Radeon 5770 and 5750. I'm willing to upgrade my PSU if you think it's greatly beneficial/crucial. I don't intend to overclock and my budget is somewhat strict at a maximum of $250 (less would be very nice). I intend to use the new gpu for mostly single-player gaming so something that can run a modern game at mid-high levels with good fps would be awesome.
Let me know if you need any more information,
Thanks in advance!
