Hello, this is my first post so sorry if i mess up anything or break rules. Now that's out of the way, lets start. This is my first time trying to build a computer so I really don't know what I am doing, so I'm not sure if all of these parts will work in harmony. Here are all the parts I'm putting in it.

Mother Board:ASRock Z77 Extreme4

Processor: Intel Core i3-2120

Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 630

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB

HHD: Western Digital My Book Essential 1TB Desktop External Hard Drive

Power supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro

Fan: ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2

DvD Drive:SAMSUNG DVD Burner 24X

Case: APEX PC-389-C Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

OS: window 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM

Will all of these work together? Am I missing anything? Is there anything overly expensive? This is my first build and I'm trying to keep it cheap, and I'm pretty sure some of this might me overkill. All I want to do with this computer is playing games like Battlefield: 3, Far cry 3, and Skyrim at medium at about 30-60 FPS. Is this possible with this setup? Anything in this setup that would be over kill for what I'm trying to do? anything to cheap for what I'm trying to do? It would be great to lower the price at all on the rig. If things are to cheap try to find something as cheap as you can to replace it. I hope you guys can help me.

Hi. No I'm afraid that won't work because I don't think the GTX 630 exists and that is an external hard drive. What is your budget and preferred websites for parts?

you really need an internal HDD. Yes it can be done with the one your looking at but why put your OS on an external HDD?

get a 640 gpu other ways your just wasting money IMHO.

Hello, The GTX 630 does exist and I thought it was internal. My budget is as cheap as possible while keeping the said frame rate on said games. I would like to get all my stuff from Newegg.

This will get you medium/high settings at 1080p

I need cheap more than I need high settings at 1080p. Medium at 720p but cheaper would be better.

You won't get this good of a build for cheaper. Its this build, or you have to play on lower settings. You could lower the GPU to a 7770 and get probably medium settings at 1080p.
