Hey guys, I need a new desktop for my me. I usually browse the internet, play Minecraft, Skyrim, AC3, play music. I'm really interested in building a computer, because it's everything I want in it and I'll have that sense of pride when I use it.

So I've been researching on how to pick out parts and make a computer, so here is what I came up with

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8 GHz Quad-core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper N520 43.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MoBo: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB
Storage: Western Digital Scorpio Black 320GB
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6770 1GB
Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Pro 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V/EPS12V
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224BB
Operating System: Windows 8 64 bit

Total: $782.92

This is my first "plan" to build. I've always been interested in doing it and here is where I can start.

The only concern I have with my knowledge, is the video card, I'm not totally sure if that's what I need. Thanks in advance guys

go ahead!! i'm open to all suggestions..

and to anyone:
this is my first build, does everything match? is everything i picked out reasonable? this is pretty fun, and it makes me not want to buy a computer ever again.. so i can just do whatever build is best on this thread and keep upgrading it
