PC Gaming on 40 inch Toshiba LED wont play computer video games

computer works fine until the start of a game .
when it starts the screen goes blank and says no video signal i even switched computer to game mode still the same

The problem is the game is outputting in a resolution the TV doesn't support. Try alt + enter or alt + tab after the screen goes off, to get the game to run in windowed mode, from there you should be able to navigate to the games option menu and set the resolution right so it will play properly in fullscreen.
