Most of us know what the changes to windows service pack 2 brings. I was
wondering what exactly was service pack 1 for windows xp for? What did it
change about the first release of windows xp.

Well to answer your question anyway I don't think there was much stuff
visible on the surface. It was more of a "traditional" service pack, fixes
upon fixes upon fixes (probably hundreds if not thousands of them so I won't
attempt to list them). 8-)
