I just looked at their website, it said it is an external sound card or PC/notebook with USB port. I think that is a damn good idea to separate sound system from your PC case. As for how it will work, it is still a question to me. How does it work without connecting the output from the CD/DVD-ROM to the sound card? I mean for MP3 or digital audio, it is probably ok, but if you just press the play button "on your CD-ROM" (besides the tray eject), will it still work?
