I was going to get a gtx 670 2gb, but I was also thinking about upgrading to two monitors eventually. I probably would only be using one monitor for gaming and one for multitasking purposes like browsing the internet and whatnot. So, do I need a second graphics card if I'm not planning to dual screen my games?

most video cards now have two video ports as standard. some ati cards can do more then 2 with a few extras cables.
some mb and cpu have built in chipsets a lot of people use the onboard gpu for web and light stuff and the gpu for gaming.
