Will using a HDMI cord instead of a DVI cord be better for graphics

Hi, i really love graphics and sound and found a new game guild wars two i really like so i have invested alot into sound card, graphics card, and a very expinsive monitor. right now my monitor is hooked up by a DVI cord, however i wondered if there would be any improvment in graphics even if it slight improvment by getinng and useing a HDMI cable? im not worried bout the cost of the cable
