GPU CrossfireX

Hey guys, Im pretty new at this and am planning on building my first pc soon so dont bash me too bad for asking but....

I was wondering if I could set up a crossfirex connection between 2 different brand names but same amd gpu's?

I am thinking of the

Great...thanks ..do you think I could get pretty good frames with that setup in gaming(bf3,etc) and could you recommend a cheap psu for that setup??

Xfx 650W will do the job cuz they need 500W in furmark
