Whats better intake fan or exhust

whats beter for nzxt phantom case i want to put it fan in the front of the case should i put it intake or exhust? thanks whats better and for m top fan the top cover does not open up all the points open except one spo any ideas how to open? maybes theres a screw there thanks pls help

there are a very few exceptions , but when in doubt

air goes in at the front and bottom , and out at the back and top

The fan in front should be an intake and the fan on top should be an exhaust. That way you have the air flowing in a single general direction

Always remember a rule of thumb when placing fans. You must always have more intake then exhaust fans.
