Advice on a budget build

Hey everyone, new to the computer building world. Something i've wanted to do for a long time. Im mainly looking for a build that can easily handle pretty in depth video editing. Secondary use would possibly be for some gaming however i still use a console system for most of my gaming needs. Would prefer a budget under $300. I know this will be hard to do but i have the time to shop for components or even used components. Looking forward to hearing some advice.

  4. Pick up parts at deals you can't pass up. Spend more money.

Here is an AMD FX-8120 Zambezi bundled with an ASRock 970 PRO3 AM3+ motherboard for $217

If the promo code works, it's $15 less. :o

I'd get a mobo with at least x8/x8 PCIe x16 slots - eventually, you should plan on a workstation card, or two, if you plan to stick with it.

A lot of your disk system would be dependent upon the software that you are using. You can use 5 or 6 HDDs in Premiere if yah get all kinds of serious.
  5. hes got a limited budget, so yeah, u cant get better for the price.
  6. no graphics card?
  7. it comes with an integrated gpu thats the best on the market igpus wise.
