FX6300 is basically a 6 core version of the 8320. It has the same clock and turbo speed. So unless you have a game that you know will use all 8 cores (which would be rare) I don't see much point in going 8320 for gaming. If you stream, then I might want the extra cores.
this far cry 3 benchmark seems to show clock speed being more important than the extra cores because the fx-6300 (3.5G 6 core) beats the fx-8300 (3.3G 8 core). One might conclude that the 8320 would be right around that same 58fps mark.
7870 is excellent for Far Cry. That's about $210-$240 depending on sales. If money is tight, then definitely drop to the 6300 to pay for the slightly better graphics card. 7870 is the best without spending well over $300.
I run a 7850, so normally I agree, but in this case there is a 33% performance increase going to the 7870. Well worth the cost difference. The next 33% performance above the 7870 costs $250! (GTX 680/7970)

if your game prefers nvidia i got the gtx 650 ti boost and it worked well with all my games with no lag at all and a minimun with the fx-6300 of 50 fps unless theres server lag.
