Upgraded build, No video signal, cpu fan doesn't spin

Hello,

Today I upgraded my PC with a new CPU, aftermarket heatsink and a new GPU.

When I try to boot, lights come on on all the components and the case fans spin. I also hear what I think is the harddrive booting up. Unfortunately, I have two problems.

1. No video signal. I tried swapping back in my old GPU (HD 6790) that was working yesterday and still no signal.

2. The new fan for the CPU spins for a couple of seconds and then stops.

Does anyone have any ideas for me? The CPU fan is plugged in. The case has no speaker so I can't listen for the BIOS post.

More about upgraded build video signal doesn spin
  1. Mouse lights up as well. Really looks like everyone is running but that fan and no video signal
  2. Reseting CMOS and booting with only 1 stick of RAM didn't work either
