New GPU need driver advice

So i just got my new pc up and running threw an OS on it and installed all the mobo stuff off the software CD.

Bout to get the GPU operational and i'm wondering if i should just use the CD they sent me with it or go get the latest driver off the net form scracth.

I'm assuming it hasnt recognized the GPU cause my max resolution atm is 1024x768 or w/e

The cd that comes with the video card is usually the basic level of drivers from when the card came out. Just go online and download the new drivers.
