Will this spec be good enough for gaming/work?

Hi I am wondering if this spec below will run most games like GW2, BF3, dayz, Wow on medium settings giving me fps of 30-50? i will also be doing work on this PC.

The Spec:
case: Cooler Master K-Series K280 Case for ATX PC

IMO, you should be just fine. Only thing I would get would be a bigger PSU, because pushing it to the limit may cause instability. I prefer redundancy when it comes to it.
That being said, it WILL run even in this config.

As i am going to uni i would be better off getting a laptop :)
Would this laptop spec be good enough for gaming?

Spec:
i5-3210M 2.5ghz (turboboost 3.1ghz)
8GB Ram (2x4GB)
GPU: 2GB DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 7670M
Screen resolution: 1366x768

 

Pretty good, esp. with the discrete graphics unit.
