I picked up a Pioneer CLD-1030 player very cheaply. I've enjoyed using
it to watch some films not yet on DVD. But I've never tried using it to
access special features such as alternate audio tracks. And it came
with no remote.
To be honest, I know little about laserdisc players. Will I need a
remote to access alternate audio tracks such as commentaries, or other
special features? I don't seem to see any "audio" button on the player
as there is on DVD players. Not sure how it functions, since it refers
to left and right analog tracks. Does this mean there is one alternate
track, and you have to pan to hear the seperate commentaries?
If I need a remote, is this something relatively easy to come by on
Ebay, and will different Pioneer remotes function on different players?
Many thanks for any advice.
