I can't seem to find whether the d740x drive will run at udma-66. I'm almost 100% sure it would but my dad and brother aren't sure if it will or not. So, will it??

It doesn't have to do with the drive in particular. Any drive that is UDMA 133, 100, 66, or 33 is backwards compatible to each other. It will just run at it's given speed.

Thanks... Where i got it the FDB was only like $1 more so I figured it would be a dollar well spent.

hey, why not?
hehe...
sounds like a good deal to me...since everyone else either doesnt have the fdb, or charges too much for it.
