WD 60GB Question

I just finished building a new machine with a WD 60GB Drive and ASUS A7V266-E Mobo. I get the message 'Ultra100 bios is not installed because no drives are attached' every time I boot up and goes thru the CMOS. I'm not using RAID, so I don't think it matters, but it is annoying because it takes about 10 seconds to go thru the detecting mode before I get the message. Any help would be appreciated. Excuse my ignorance, its been about 3 years since my last build.

Look at the motherboard manual to see if you can disable it with a jumper or a BIOS setting. Other then that stick a couple drives on it and use it cause you won't get rid of the message until you do.

Yeah, go to the 'boot' page and turn off the 'load ata100 bios'. You'll still be able to use the drive, it just won't check for a 'bootable' at startup.

There isn't a 'load ata100 bios' option on the boot page.

On the motherboard there is a jumper to set as ATA100 or RAID 0/1. I have it set to ATA100.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
