  1. They really arent much better than the 6700's, don't know why the price is so high. You'll get better performance for the same price with an EVGA 560 superclock. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130743

Those are excellent bargains at the moment, about 3 months ago they were near 200 dollars. 130$ now, same as the 7770.

If you cant buy from newegg and you're looking at a place that will ship to you, make sure you look for the EVGA superclocked 560. If you try and get a 560ti the price will jump up, it's a different card.
  2. Well the prob is i wish to get ATI since my MB supports crossfire ... and no i can't buy from NEWEGG, since i'm from Slovenia ...

EVGA 560 Supreclocked is 210€ at my place =)=)=)
  3. 105 euros is a decent price for HD 7770. No idea why Rich said it's overpriced, because it's not. It will work beautifully in DOTA 2.
  4. sinius, its basically a 6770 which is 90 USD, so about.. what... 75 euros?
  5. crossfire is a nice idea but not as smooth as a single card. better to have a $200 card than 2 $100 cards. also saves power. and if your motherboard supports virtu MVP you will definately want one card. it makes games so responsive and smooth.

from what ive found dota 2 will run fine on any current generation card.
    DOTA 2 Recommended System Requirements
    OS: Windows® 7 / Vista / Vista64 / XP
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz/ AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600+
RAM: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
GFX: NVidia 7600 / ATI X1600 or better
GFX Notes: DirectX 9 compatible video card with Shader model 3.0

You don't convert dollars to euros by just taking currency values. Remember, in Europe people pay VAT and the graphics cards also have import taxes. 105 euros for HD 7770 is a decent price in Europe.

And no it's not basically a 6770, they are about on par with a 6850.
  8. Exactly. HD 7770 is around 20% faster than HD 6770.
  9. "They really arent much better than the 6700's, don't know why the price is so high."

Two 6670's in crossfire aren't as fast as a single 7750 in most situations let alone a 7770.

For it's price point, the 7770 is the best card.
  10. Guys sorry for my absence ... so as i recal, i should buy the card ??=) ... And how much you think i can get for my Asus 8800GTS 320mb ...
  11. And atm my system specs are:

Asus P5W DH Deluxe ( Latest 3002 BIOS ver. )
    Intel Q6600 B3, 2.4 GHZ
    Asus 8800GTS 320MB
    Asus Arctic square cooler ...
    Intel 520, 128gb SSD
    LC 6600, 600W PSU
    Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) + 2gb A-DATA DDR2 800

Should i kick A DATA RAM module out and OC Patriot ram ??? What do you suggest ...
  12. OCing RAM is for the most part useless. Getting HD 7770 will increase your computer gaming performance quite a bit. I'd go for it.
  13. Now the new prob is ... that i've got a chance to buy HD 6870 15€ more than HD 7770 ... WHICH 1 to chosssee =) HEHE
  14. Well HD 6870 is definitely better, but I am not sure whether your power supply unit can cope with it.
  15. Aha, so LC 660, 600w PSU won't be able to run 1 HD 6870 ?
  16. As i read forums it should even supp 2 cards in CFX ... but not 100%, needed 750 at least than =)
