HD 7850 oc?

If I replace my 6750 with the Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2GB will I need an extra cooling solution and when replacing it do I have to uninstall my old amd drivers? thanks.

No extra cooling. And yes clear the old drivers and reinstall them.

Use driver sweeper when uninstalling drivers and you will be set. The card has fans so don't worry about cooling.

1. No you dont need extra fans(coming from someone who owns the sapphire OC 2gb(first edition))

2. Yes, clear drivers. I suggest manually deleting drivers(Guide here) or using atiman uninstaller instead of driver sweeper. Some people get problems using driver sweeper which eventually ends up to the "I hate amd drivers" kind of threads becaue lack of attempting to troubleshooting them manually.

uninstall before. after you manually delete drivers(or automatically), you shut down then add in the new card. then install new drivers

if you want a refernce to what tempetures i get on my card, atm the weather in my area is:

61 Fahrenheit(~16 celcius) gpu atm idles at 26 celcius, load is like around 50 celcius(wintertime, sindide of a Xclio 767 case with only 2 fans) add more celcius to expect what to expect in the summer.
