Hi Everyone

I am looking to undertake my first tower build, I am not a serious gamer but I like to play Fifa 13 and Football manager 2013 here are the minimum system requirements:

PC
OS - Windows XP/Vista/W7
Processor - XP : 1.6GHz or Faster, Vista/W7/W8 : 2.2GHz or Faster
Supported Processors: Intel Pentium 4, Intel Core, AMD Athlon
Memory - XP/Vista/W7/W8 : 1.0GB RAM
Video Card - 128MB *Supported Chipsets (see below)
DirectX: 9.0c
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible
Supported Chipsets:
Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater.
A fully DirectX 9 compliant graphics card is required.
Earlier cards may only display 2D Match Viewer Mode and are not supported.
Earlier cards may require the DirectX 9.0 SDK is installed to run the game.
Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.

This game is best when using the 3d feature.

Other than that it will be used for internet and everday stuff.

I have £500 GBP to spend, any advice would be great, I already have operating system ect.

Thanks

Mark

Cpu cooler is good idea to add this set: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-coole...

The above is wrong, it is not "future proof". You can't get a future proof computer since haswell is around the corner. And that is dumb to put a server processor on a H61 motherboard. You just threw the cheapest motherboard you could find on the list...

Cheers Blake,

Managed to research and source the parts needed but with a different case as the above one didnt have any space for a front usb 3.0, and managed to save £50.

Next question, do i need a heatsink n fan cooler?

What wireless network card would i need.

Thanks again

Mark

No. Stock cooler will be fine if you aren't overclocking, which can't be done on the 3470 anyways. You will be fine :) . Also, any network card would be fine. I have a edmiax wireless usb adapter that i got for really cheap on amazon and it works great. A PCI wireless adapter would probably be a little faster.
