  1. Budget ?

For gaming, you just need an i5, if you don't want to overclock the cpu, the best choice is the i5-3470+ any h77 mobo, if you want to overclock then you mus get the i5-3570k+z77 motherboard.

I had another thread I want to build a PC for less than 900. How much should I budget for the MOBO and CPU combo?
  3. Something like this :

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.79 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $258.78
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

This allows for a good card around 280-300$ and the rest of the parts.
