GPU Upgrade?

Im using an MSI gtw 560 ti TwinFrozr and an i5-2500k OC. I am targeting these two components for upgrade. I've got about $300 to spend and I am trying to figure out which one I owuld get the most bang for the buck with changing.

The rest of my system...16gb ram, ssd, 2tb hd, MSI mb(dont remember the model but its 1155 socket with their "military grade components"...has the new bios on it. HAFx case. Running dual monitors.

No doubt the GPU. Get a 7870 or 7950 if you can.

The i5 2500k is still one of the best CPUs for gaming, any "upgrade" you do with it will be more of a side grade... That being said For $300 the AMD 7950 is your best option.

^+1 The 2500 is still a great cpu. The 7950 should be right about $300 or a little less.

Upgrade the GPU for sure. That said, you left out your PSU, which is a pretty important when you are considering a GPU upgrade; if you aren't confident that your PSU can support a big GPU, please post the details on it

PSU is 750w modular

That will be fine for any single GPU system.

A 560 ti uses the same amount of power as a 7950 so as long as the 560 ti works the 7950 should be fine.
