How do I remove Windows Security Essentials in Safe Mode

I recently got a BSOD I looked up the error code and its linked to windows security essentials. I tried logging into my computer regularly but it will load the icons and blue screen. But I can run find in safe mode but it won't uninstall the program in safemode. Any suggestions?

Boot into safe mode. Run msconfig. Stop the MSE entries. Save.

Restart the system in normal mode. Remove MSE.

BTW, how did you confirm MSE was the problem? MSE is a VERY stable product.

Try your latest restore point. You can restore from safe mode.

The guy uses msconfig to start Windows without starting Security Essentials. So no freeze, and uninstall has green light.

So it links to MSE? Did you ever think it links there because MSE stopped a possible problem before it ocurred which was caused by some other source?
I agree with the other posters, MSE is very stable. Look for the problems elsewhere.

It is better to get an advanced removal tool on your computer. It can detect and delete the infection automatically and completely without damage.
