Issue with dual monitrors.

Just bought a new monitor and trying to hook up both. I run with a radeo 7950 with 1 hdmi and 1 dvi port and also a motherboard with a hdmi and vga on. Ive tried every combo with no luck. Any help

More than likely the motherboard got disabled. See if you can reenable it.
I would just hook up both to the 7950, it may need an adapter for the cable on the second monitor but it will be worth it.

how can i reenable the monitor? ill buy a cable tomorrow. also it says input thru vga and the cursor can go over but nothing shows

The mouse cursor?
If so, then you need to tell windows to use the second monitor for stuff. Try dragging a program window over to the second monitor.

The actual cursors doesnt appear but goes off my main screen. It knows a monitor is there but wont do anything with it

Then you have a problem with the monitor or cable.
