Updating old build need opinons

and im switching from ati cards to nvidia cards

i want to have an sli setup but im starting with just one card for now

im new to nvidia but im thinking of starting with this card

now what i want to know is how that motherboard and card work are they good bad or what, i already know everything else ( ram cpu psu) is all able to be used with the new board.

and the other question is can i use that card with the current board i have. i would like to buy the card first and board 2nd (when i get my taxes lol)

im trying to play games such as WoW, D3, GW2, BF3 all on max settings and get my computer to run a bit smoother as well.
