Hi I am thinking of getting two sapphire radeon hd 7950 crossfired to game at 2560x1440p.

But I want get 60fps and above with dx11 features turned on. So I'm wondering if I should do 1 of 4 things...

1. Crossfire two sapphire radeon-hd 7950's $600

2. Crossfire two GIGABYTE radeon 7970's $800

3. SLI two EVGA GEforce gtx 680's $940

4. Get the EVGA GEforce gtx 690 $1100

Tho it pains me to say it, (Nvidia fanboy at heart) 2x 7950s in probably the way to go. I mean, theres so many other variables such as heat, power consumption etc. But if your looking for a balance of cheap/power then def the 7950s

If the price isn't a issue I would personally go for the dual 7970 have same performance if not better then the 670 because of the new Catalyst drivers and save yourself $100, but like Big and Sim says if you want balance go the 7950's they'll go splendid.

P.S Don't want to start a battle between Nvidia and AMD XD
