AA options

I've read that Nvidia isn't a fan of SSAA and doesn't allow it in software. I'm not a huge fan of FXAA/MSAA/and the likes, I'd rather take the huge performance hit with SSAA and get the beautiful picture that comes along with it, or just not use AA at all.
Is there a way to fake a screen resolution of 2160p and use a software downscaler or something like that? Or tweak the nvidia drivers to add an SSAA override option?

You don't need to tweak anything. Just enable it in Nvidia Control Panel. It lets you use up to SSAAx8

Oh ok that's cool, it seems to work because I run out of vram playing civ 5 with it turned on. Video stayed completely smooth though, just tons of texture popping. Gtx 560 ti+2500k.
