I am now using Matshita CDRW CW-7586. Is this CDRW support Overburn? I am using Nero Burning ROM 5.5.5.1., it shows that it can support overburn. However, when I insert a 730MB CDRW disc. Its said it cannot detect the disc. What is the problem? Did I need to upgrade the firmware? Where can I download it?

Thank you for yr assistance.

you need to follow min speed ratins you can not use highspeed rw in a low speed burnner.

You absolutely CAN use a higher-rated disc in a lower-rated drive. The other way around wouldn't work as well, but you could still burn at the lowest speed.
