Hello there,

I just want to clear my doubts about relationship between Cuda Cores and Image Quality.

Q: Does more number of cuda cores mean higher the image quality?

I'm planning ASUS GTX 680 DC2 4GD5 SLI,so the total number of cuda cores would be greater than 3000.
Would that be enough for high graphics demanding games in 3D?

Else,ASUS GTX 670 DC2T 2GD5 3-way SLI would be my alternative option.

So, clear my misunderstandings about this if there are any.

Just one of those cards is over kill for any of todays games. And yes cores matter just like the the memory bit of cards, 256 bit will be alot faster than 196 bit. One should be enough for 3d, hell, if you can afford two cards you may as well buy them or just pick up one 690 which is essentially the same.

True, a single GTX 690 would save me some cash but I want more performance by going either SLI or 3-way SLI route.

So,if the memory interface does matter then AMD wins in this case since its top series cards have 384-bit memory interface!!!

Anyways, back to Nvidia, 256-bit memory interface with 1536 cuda cores in each card would be sufficient enough,I think!
