Will the extra money be worth it.

Hello, I am building a PC for the first time. I was wondering if the extra money I would spend to get the I5 3570k and ASUS p8z77-V would be worth it for my application.

The most intense application I use is League of Legends, but I also do a bit of E trading.

Should I save the money and get an AMD and compatible MOBO and maybe have some extra money for a GPU?

Here is what I am looking at so far:

WD Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6/Gbs: $104.99
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB: $179.99

League of legends inst extremely demanding. in my opinion you could definitely go with a cheaper amd processor and get the performance you are looking for. depending how much you want to upgrade in the future.

The HD 7850 will be great for league of legends. and most games for that matter.
