Needs icons on taskbar

Right-click on the Toolbar and make sure that Quick Launch is selected under Toolbars. Then you should be able to drag the shortcuts onto the Toolbar again.

And if necessary, grab the toolbar near the left edge and drag it out toward the right so there is room for the icons.

when I right click on the toolbar the choices are faded and greyed so I cannot select them. What next?

Short of reinstalling the OS, the only information I could find on the subject was this:
